We're seeking a Technical Support specialist to help deploy our innovative solutions and support our growing customer base.
About the Role
As a Technical Support specialist, you'll be the bridge between our cutting-edge technology and real-world RES plant operations. You'll work directly with clients to ensure their energy management systems run smoothly.
This is a hybrid role based in Thessaloniki, combining remote support with occasional on-site visits to RES plants across Greece.
What You'll Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Client Support
- Provide technical guidance to clients on +SolarControl system setup and operation
- Perform remote diagnostics to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Monitor system performance to ensure optimal operation
- Document solutions to continuously improve our knowledge base
Field Work
- Participate in on-site installations at RES parks (mostly day trips)
- Travel to client locations for hands-on support
- Build relationships with plant operators and technical teams
Collaboration
- Work closely with our development team to identify and resolve product issues
- Partner with the sales team to enhance the customer experience
- Contribute to the improvement of our support workflows
What You Bring
We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with strong communication skills.
Technical Foundation
- Technical Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Basic understanding of networking (IP, routers, VPNs) and Linux-based systems
- Familiarity with industrial environments and RES plants
Problem-Solving Skills
- Strong analytical thinking and a methodical approach to troubleshooting
- Ability to diagnose complex issues remotely
- Resourceful and adaptable when facing new challenges
Collaborative Mindset
- Eagerness to learn and grow technically
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts
- Team-oriented approach to problem-solving
Flexibility
- Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site support
- Adaptability to work across different client environments

Bonus Skills
While not required, experience in these areas would set you apart:
- Experience with SCADA, Modbus, or telemetry/monitoring systems
- Familiarity with MQTT brokers or Raspberry Pi
- Basic programming/scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, etc.)
